I will be out of town for most of May working for Workshops in France, plein air painting in Southern France and then running the Workshops in France booth at the national Plein Art Convention and Expo! I will be back at the end of May!

Payment

Plein Air painting is a bit of a tricky thing to swing. Because of changing weather, we have a full refund policy if the weather is too rough to paint. If you have to cancel for any other reason 4 days before the event a full refund will be returned, and anything within 4 days will be a 50% refund. Holding a space until the last couple days prevents me from filling it with another student! 

You can RSVP to hold your spot and send a payment!

Starting at 9:20 join Lauren Carlo for an intermediate/advanced demo until 10 am. Topics include, composition, atmospheric perspective, color temperature shifts, texture and edges.

Watch a quick plein air demo or get started on your own painting

ARRIVE

Arrive at the designated location
Meet the art enthusiasts you will be painting with that day. Grab your kit for painting. 

PAINT

Set up kit and choose a view you would like to paint. 
 

Paint, enjoy the day, take breaks. 1 on 1 help from instructor throughout the rest of the class.

MATERIALS

Listen to a brief introduction about the materials and methods for oil paint

CLEAN UP

Bring painting to a close and begin the process of cleaning up. Post that baby on the internet
